A live feed of market headlines with tickers tagged, a filter for the ones that move stocks, and search by ticker.
The news page is a live stream of market headlines. Each one shows its source, the time in Eastern, and the tickers it affects. You can narrow the stream to the headlines most likely to move prices.
How to read the feed
- Click News in the left menu, under Research.
- Each row has the tickers in green, the headline, the source and the time.
- Click a headline to read the article inside Tapeboard. You do not leave the page.
- Click a ticker to see that stock.
How to show only the catalysts
- Click HIGH_IMPACT above the list. It lights up.
- The feed now shows headlines marked as high impact, which means news likely to move a stock. Click the button again to see everything.
- On a phone, tap HIGH IMPACT, BREAKING or ALL in the row above the list. BREAKING shows the last two hours.
How to search a ticker
- Type a symbol into the SEARCH_TICKER box.
- The feed keeps only headlines that mention it. Click the X in the box to clear it.
How to filter by source
On a phone, tap Filters to choose a group, such as major wire services, analysis, sector-specific or regulatory sources, then a source.
How to listen instead
Click AUDIO above the list to have breaking headlines read aloud. See Radio and Scanner sounds.

Good to know
- A banner can appear when breaking news hits a high-impact story.
- Headlines that mention stocks on your watchlist can also be sent as alerts. Set this in Settings, then Notifications.
- News helps explain a move. Look at volume and price too.
If something doesn't work
- The feed says it is unavailable: reload the page.
- Only 10 headlines show: that is the Free limit. Pro removes it.
- A ticker search shows nothing: no current headline mentions it.
